Smoked Mackerel Salad

This smoked mackerel salad recipe, taken from 'Kookboek voor Meisjes van 8 tot 88' (Cookbook for Girls from 8 to 88), which I reviewed recently, is like cross between a Caesar salad and a Nicoise salad, but with a Dutch twist: smoked mackerel, a very popular ingredient here. Delicious! If you can't find smoked mackerel where you live, simply replace it with your favorite smoked fish.
