Classic Dutch Snack

The first recipe I tried from The New Dutch Cuisine is for frikadellen, that skinless sausage so popular at late-night fast food joints in the Netherlands. This version may be a bit more posh than what you'll get at the snackbar, but it is all the more tasty for it (and at least you'll know what went into it).
