Where shipyard dockworkers once lunched, you´ll now find a hip café-slash-canteen with colorful Arne Jacobsen design chairs, a children´s play corner and a mainly Med-led menu. Service can be slow and the (overpriced) food hit and miss, but you´re here for the big, beautiful dockside patio, so head to IJ-kantine for sundowners with a view of Amsterdam´s stunning waterfront.
