Definition: The Dutch enjoy eating apple sauce (or appelmoes as they call it) as a condiment/side dish with their main meal. Children love it. Making apple sauce is an excellent way to use up mealy apples. My apple sauce is so easy to make, I guarantee that the hardest thing about it is peeling the apples!
